Baskin-Robbins Canada launches new flavour, Caramel Cream Puff, as its September Flavour of the Month

The world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty shops puts a 21st century spin on a classic French pastry

Toronto, Ont., August 29, 2018 Baskin-Robbins Canada launches a new flavour, Caramel Cream Puff, as its September Flavour of the Month. The new flavour blends pastry cream-flavoured mousse ice cream and salted caramel ice cream and is made with pastry pieces, burnt sugar crystals, and a caramel swirl. Inspired by the French classic dessert, Croquembouche (which translates to “crunch in mouth”), the flavour is perfect for those looking for the taste of France without leaving their neighbourhoods.

“Bon appétit,” says Baskin-Robbins representative, Natalie Joseph. “We’ve spent some time exploring ways to bring this perennial French favourite dessert to our guests, and we’ve definitely found what I think is the pièce de resistance for ice cream lovers to enjoy.”

Also in the spirit of European-inspired treats, September will see the reintroduction of another favourite flavour – German Chocolate Cake. This Swiss-style chocolate ice cream is packed with fudge brownie pieces, coconut flakes, walnut pieces and topped off with a caramel swirl.

These latest flavours are available at Baskin-Robbins shops across Canada and also fit perfectly as part of a milkshake or a Warm Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich.
