CHOCOLATE FUDGE, PEPPERMINT AND SPRINKLES – PART OF THE ESSENTIAL YULETIDE TREATS MENU AT BASKIN-ROBBINS THIS DECEMBER

TORONTO, ON, Dec. 1, 2017 – Holiday cheer comes in many different flavours. Throughout the month of December, Canadians with a particular penchant for fudge, peppermint and sprinkles can join friends and family at Baskin-Robbins for a new assortment of seasonal flavours and cakes that includes York® Peppermint Pattie, Winter Wonderland Cake and the perennial favourite Fudge Yule Log Cake.

“Our world needs more joy and some of that can come in the form of the simplest and most inexpensive things,” says Natalie Joseph, representative for Baskin-Robbins in Canada. “Finding the right flavour and sharing it widely can make anyone’s holiday season beam with love, light and warmth.”

Back by popular demand, York Peppermint Pattie is the featured Flavour of the Month at Baskin-Robbins locations across the country. This treat takes the cool refreshing taste of mint ice cream filled with mini York Peppermint Pattie pieces and a rich dark mint-flavoured chocolate ribbon.

Just in time for the celebrations of the season, the Winter Wonderland Cake makes its debut with icy-blue swirls, white dots and sparkling glitter – perfectly chilled for all to enjoy, and the perennial favourite Fudge Yule Log Cake returns with its perfectly combined mint chocolate chip ice cream and chocolate cake rolled together with white icing and topped with three holly leaf decorations and candles.

“There’s much more that unites us than divides us,” says Joseph. “Love of food and sweets is one of those things. During this special time of the year, we’re hopeful that everyone can come together with a treat in hand to be grateful for what unites us and to celebrate greater peace and community in the new year.”
