Baskin-Robbins celebrates motherly love, graduation milestones this May

Mom’s Makin’ Cookies returns as brand’s Flavour of the Month and new cake, Turn the Tassel, makes it to market, and Canadian tables, for grad season

Toronto, May 2, 2023 – Baskin-Robbins Canada reintroduces today Mom’s Makin’ Cookies as its May Flavour of the Month. First introduced to Canadians ten years ago, the popular, seasonal flavour is a delicious ode to freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, featuring brown sugar-flavoured ice cream filled with chocolate chip cookie pieces and chocolate chips and is topped with a delicious cookie dough batter-flavoured ribbon.

The flavour joins another sweet treat, Mother’s Day Cake, in spoiling motherly figures with a symbol of the sweetness and affection so appreciated in motherly love. As with most other Baskin-Robbins cakes, Mother’s Day Cake is available with your choice of cake – chocolate or white – and is topped with delectable and colourful flowers.

“There’s a lot of Motherly love out there and, through these creative and delicious dessert options, we’re delighted to be able to play a small part in recognizing the importance of that love in our world,” says Natalie Joseph, spokesmother for Baskin-Robbins Canada.

The ice cream brand also tips its hat this month to all graduates, from elementary school to university and everything in between, with the launch of the new Turn the Tassel Cake. The similarly customizable cake features a graduation cap topper with tassels and celebratory buttercream rose and rosette details.

On May 31st, guests are also invited to enjoy Baskin-Robbins’ popular #Celebrate31 promotion, which offers customers 31% off their in-store pre-pack purchases.
